Freight Forwarding FAQs
What information do you need to prepare a freight quote?
Provide the product description, origin, destination, carton count, dimensions, weight, total volume, preferred shipping date, and any special requirements. For Amazon FBA shipments, include your shipment plan and destination details when available.
What is the difference between FCL and LCL?
FCL uses a dedicated container for your cargo. LCL combines your cargo with shipments from other businesses in a shared container. The suitable option depends on shipment size, cost, schedule, cargo requirements, and the full origin-to-destination charges.
Which is faster: sea freight, air freight, or express?
Express and air services are generally selected when shorter transit time is important, while sea freight typically takes longer. Actual delivery time depends on the route, service, customs processing, carrier capacity, and other factors. Ask for current estimates for your specific shipment.
Can you ship directly to Amazon FBA?
We can coordinate freight to eligible Amazon fulfillment centers based on your shipment plan and the selected service. Amazon’s requirements and receiving decisions can change, so provide current labels and instructions and check your Seller Central account before dispatch.
Can you consolidate cargo from several suppliers?
Yes. Suppliers can deliver products to our Shenzhen warehouse for receiving and organization before onward shipment. The process and cost depend on the number of suppliers, shipment timing, carton details, product requirements, and consolidation work.
Are duties and taxes included in the freight quote?
Not always. The quote will specify which charges are included and which are excluded. Duties and taxes depend on the product, customs classification, value, origin, destination, and import arrangement. Confirm the charges and importer responsibilities before booking.
Is every shipment fully insured?
Insurance availability, coverage limits, exclusions, valuation rules, and claims procedures depend on the shipment and selected service. Ask for the written insurance terms and confirm the coverage before dispatch. Do not assume a shipment is insured unless the coverage is confirmed.
Are delivery times guaranteed?
Transit times are estimates unless the selected carrier service explicitly offers a delivery guarantee. Customs inspections, congestion, weather, peak-season demand, and other operational events may affect delivery.
Can you provide automatic tracking updates to Amazon Seller Central?
Tracking and integration options depend on the shipment service and account setup. We’ll confirm what information can be shared or synchronized before your shipment is booked.
